I need your help please !

One of my friends is moving overseas next year and she wants to write a blog to keep in touch with friends and family.

I said I could help her but she asked for something I don't know where to find. Here's what kind of blogging system I'm looking for

- easy to use for blogging (text and pictures) (if needed, I can help with the set up at first, but the "daily" use must be easy, she's not computer illiterate but doesn't know html)

- entries can be password protected (it's very important to her because she's a teacher and doesn't want her student to read her blog) BUT readers don't have to register (unlike friends-only entries here).

- free

Of all the blogging offers around here, do you have something to recommend ?

I don't even want to check when I last posted something here that was not a little strip/doodle. ot that this one is so big, it's pencil, and it's one character alone in the empty-ness but it was fun to draw !

I have this since Sunday, before that I had the same one for about a year.
It's Chuck and Blair from Gossip Girl, and it's green, both are surprises to me
It's from paperdollgirl who does really pretty wallpapers the way I like them : with a lot of white space (I have too many icons on the desktop right now, it bothers me).
It's actually not widescreen but still fits okay.
I love the bright colors, and Chuck's devil ears make me smile when I turn on my computer.

After almost giving up on Gossip Girl this season (both because of lack of time and the huge mess the love dodecahedron was turning into) I watched a hundred episodes this week end. Well, 8, actually but it's still not bad.

And I went from "meh, I'm not really into the show this season" to "too bad it's over I want more" in a week end...

That's because I introduced my sister to the show at Christmas and as I expected, she loved it, and was bugging me that I should watch the second season. I think she might regret, she got A LOT of text messages, especially in the last two episodes

Star Trek (2009) - May 21st/31st - theaters - imdb

I may have seen the new Star Trek movie in theaters. Twice. Ahem...

I had never seen any movie or tv episode before. Nothing. Seriously, of all the history of this show, I knew that it's Sci-Fi, that there's someone named Spock and someone named Kirk, and they're wearing pajamas. That beats the time I saw the fourth Fast and Furious movie. And it was so much more enjoyable.

You may have noticed a drawing at the top of the entry. It's actually the first of the year to be posted here. Crazy. It's not my finest work, but at least it's here !! I started doodling again recently and I'm trying to convince myself not to stop... The one at the top is a mix from 3 different pages of doodles I made recently. Most of it is ready to be trashed, though.
I even did something for a friend's birthday that I managed to finish BEFORE the party. Yay !

Je me demande bien pourquoi ma meilleure amie vient de m'envoyer le lien vers cette vidéo (et surtout pourquoi tout le monde va me dire "ben oui tu connaissais pas ?" alors que personne ne me l'avait envoyée ! Hein ? Vous n'avez pas honte ?).

That's a question for me... I hate earworms so much. It seems like I have one every other day, and it's always the weirdest song possible. I don't even know where they come from most of the time, and especially today.

Since January, I've managed to see The Transporteur 3, Underworld 3 : Rise of the Lycans and The fast and the furious 4. I had seen none of the previous installement of either movie (I've seen the second Transporteur since, which only makes it worse).

Yet, I missed The Wrestler, which I really wanted to see.

This is so wrong.

I stayed up way too late yesterday because I was watching ER s15e19.

I missed the last 8 seasons or something (OMG it was so long ago) so that was weird (I didn't know there was Uncle Jesse in it o_o). But anyway, I didn't watch the whole episode, just two storylines.

I went to see it for Takeshi Kaneshiro and I really, really liked him.

I haven't seen a single French movie this year, but I've seen 2 asian movies this week end alons. However, if you consider the French movies in theaters right now, I might have an excuse.

There's this song on the radio.
Everytime I hear it, I'm thinking I like it a lot. Then, I remember who sings it.
I don't want to like anything by him, and I can't help it. I have to face it :

That's even more disturbing than the CD I bought today.

Yesterday, I went to see Gran Torino with my friends. It's been a long time since we all agreed that a movie was awesome. Of course, it had to be Clint Eastwood.
